Our clients require a vast array of driving types, but below are the most common ones we cater for.

How easy is it to get started?

From small vans to HGV Class 1 driving we have a job for you.

Wait, I’ve got a few questions...

Driving roles including 3.5t vans, 7.5t vehicles, Class 2 & Class 1 vehicles as well as labour only roles (we call this 'hand only')

No, the business you will be working for will supply the vehicle and provide insurance for you to drive that vehicle (which means you would typically need to be over 21, and a manual licence holder, to driver a business's vehicle).

Payments are made weekly on a Friday, no longer than eleven days in arrears. For example, if you work on a Monday you will be paid 11 days later. If you work on a Sunday you will be paid 5 days later. A working week is calculated Monday to Sunday. You are paid as a PAYE individual or self-employed if properly regsitered to be paid in this manner (you will need to provide evidence to support this type of payment)

Yes, you are free to choose the days and hours you are available to work and even how far you are willing to travel to work!

No, the team at Canugo will review the documents you have provided and once confirmed you will be 'Approved' as a driver/worker and will be able to see roles which match your profile. We try and do this within 24 hours but in busier periods it can take longer. Once approved in the app, you will receive a 'push' notification that a job is available, asking you to either accept or reject the role. Note - please make sure that your notifications are enabled within setting on your phone

Usually it is 8 hours but on occasions 4 hours booking are advertised. If you are booked on an 8 hour shift and work a shorter day, you will still receive 8 hours pay. If you work longer than 8 hours you will be paid for the extra hours at a pro rata rate. You will always be paid for all the hours you work.

You are given the minimum amount of pay you will receive (generally 8 hours per shift), the job start location, name of the business, start date and time and the number of days the booking involves & a description of the role
